Weaving Tradition into Festivity, ITC Mughal Celebrates Christmas Through the Art of Zardozi
ITC Mughal begins the festive season with a celebration that honours the city’s artistic heritage while capturing the magic of Christmas. This year, the Grand Lobby has been transformed into a captivating tribute to Agra’s iconic Zardozi craft, centred around a magnificent 17-feet Christmas Tree inspired by this exquisite heritage art form. Renowned for its gold threads, beads and Mughal-era detailing, Zardozi reflects the artistic soul of Agra. Each ornament on the tree celebrates the skill and dedication of local artisans. Thoughtfully created as an installation, it also embodies the hotel’s environmentally conscious approach, aligning with ITC Hotels ethos of Responsible Luxury by blending creativity with sustainability and initiatives such as renewable energy, reduced plastic use, and biodiverse green spaces, ensuring the festive celebrations remain immersive, joyful, and mindful.
