June 18, 2025: Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced a major tech upgrade across its U.S. and Canadian properties by partnering with Elavon, a global payment solutions provider. The collaboration brings a new cloud-based payment system to over 6,000 Wyndham hotels, enhancing both guest convenience and security.
This move eliminates the need for physical payment terminals in many locations. Instead, hotels can now process payments securely via cloud-connected devices—streamlining operations and reducing hardware costs.
The updated system supports contactless transactions, mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, and improved encryption protocols that help safeguard customer data. It also integrates smoothly with Wyndham’s reservation and property management platforms, making the entire payment process faster and more efficient.
Wyndham’s leadership team said this digital shift is part of their broader mission to modernize hotel operations while giving guests a seamless and secure experience from check-in to checkout.

The new system is now live in a majority of Wyndham’s brands, including Days Inn, Super 8, Ramada, and La Quinta.
