Air Astana shareholders have confirmed an order for 25 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, comprising five A320neo and twenty A321neo jets.
The order supports the airline’s continued fleet modernisation and growth strategy. Aircraft from the A320neo family are known for improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and reduced operating costs compared to previous-generation narrowbody jets.
The larger A321neo variant offers increased seating capacity and extended range, allowing airlines to serve both high-demand regional routes and select longer sectors efficiently.
The confirmation signals confidence in sustained passenger demand and Air Astana’s long-term expansion plans, as the carrier continues strengthening its position in Central Asia and beyond.
