Aruba Strengthens MICE Tourism with Hotel Renovations, Unique Venues, and Wellness Experiences
Aruba enhances its MICE tourism offering with hotel renovations, unique event venues, new nautical experiences, and an expanded international promotional agenda.
Aruba Expands Its MICE Offering with New Experiences and Renovated Infrastructure
The Caribbean destination of Aruba is strengthening its position in the global meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) market through a combination of hotel renovations, distinctive event venues, and innovative group experiences.
Working alongside the Aruba Convention Bureau and local tourism partners, the island continues to develop new initiatives aimed at increasing its competitiveness in the international meetings and incentives sector.
Strategic Promotion in Key International Markets
The Aruba Convention Bureau has planned an active promotional agenda targeting meeting planners across Latin America and Europe. The destination will participate in several industry activations and sales events, including initiatives scheduled in Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil.
These activities aim to strengthen relationships with travel planners, corporate partners, and destination management companies while positioning Aruba as a premium location for corporate meetings and incentive travel.
Major Renovation at Aruba Marriott Resort
A key highlight of the destination’s renewed hospitality infrastructure is the recent renovation at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. Completed in late 2025, the multimillion-dollar project updated all 414 guestrooms and suites with contemporary interiors inspired by the island’s natural landscape.
The renovation introduced modern furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and spa-inspired bathrooms. The resort’s Mandara Spa was also upgraded with new relaxation areas and treatment rooms, enhancing the property’s appeal for corporate groups and incentive travelers.
Unique Event Spaces with Local Character
Aruba is also expanding its portfolio of distinctive event venues. Among them is House No. 17 in the Anna Catharina district of Oranjestad, an early 19th‑century property offering an intimate setting for workshops, private meetings, and small gatherings.
Another venue gaining attention is Gasparito Aruban Estate by The Little One, which blends historic architecture with open-air gardens and terraces capable of hosting events ranging from small celebrations to large corporate gatherings of up to 500 guests.
Nautical and Wellness Experiences for Groups
Experiential tourism continues to play a key role in Aruba’s MICE strategy. Destination management company De Palm Tours recently introduced the Fortunata catamaran, designed for exclusive group experiences such as team-building activities and private events along the island’s coastline.
Additionally, wellness offerings are expanding with the opening of a new Blue Space Body & Mind Wellness studio in Palm Beach. The studio provides Pilates reformer sessions, hot yoga classes, and infrared therapy treatments, which can be integrated into incentive travel programs and corporate retreats.
Positioning Aruba as a Leading Caribbean Meetings Destination
Through infrastructure upgrades, innovative event venues, and experiential programming, Aruba continues to position itself as a comprehensive destination for meetings and incentives. These initiatives highlight the island’s strategy to combine modern hospitality with authentic cultural and wellness experiences for global event planners.
