Edelweiss Air Plans Modern A350 Cabin Makeover Across Entire Fleet by Summer 2027
Swiss leisure carrier Edelweiss Air will retrofit its entire Airbus A350 fleet with redesigned cabins featuring premium seating, new layouts and enhanced comfort by summer 2027.
Swiss leisure airline Edelweiss Air has announced plans to completely retrofit the cabins of its Airbus A350 fleet, with all aircraft expected to feature the new interior design by summer 2027.
The overhaul is set to begin with the first updated A350 entering service in December 2026, with more aircraft scheduled for conversion between early 2027 and summer. This extensive upgrade reflects the carrier’s strategy to elevate passenger comfort and onboard experience across its long‑haul operations.
The redesigned cabins will introduce a refreshed Premium Economy section, an enhanced Business Class with modern suites, and improved amenities in all classes, including free high‑speed Wi‑Fi, 4K entertainment screens, and expanded personal power options.
Edelweiss aims to align its A350 interiors with contemporary standards of comfort and service, blending Swiss‑inspired aesthetics with practical advancements such as increased legroom, better seat layouts, and elevated onboard technology. The phased retrofit program is expected to conclude in summer 2027, offering travellers a more appealing and comfortable experience on long‑haul routes.
