Grand Hyatt Mumbai has announced the appointment of Prasad Prabhu as its Learning and Development Manager, marking a strategic addition to the hotel’s leadership team. With over 18 years of extensive experience across leading global hospitality brands, Prabhu brings deep expertise in talent development, leadership capability building, service culture transformation, and colleague engagement.

In his new role, Prasad Prabhu will spearhead Grand Hyatt Mumbai’s learning and development strategy, focusing on strengthening leadership capabilities and enhancing colleague engagement. He aims to embed Hyatt’s core values through a culture of continuous learning, ensuring that training initiatives are closely aligned with the hotel’s operational goals and business objectives.

An alumnus of Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, and the Institute of Hotel Management, Goa and Mumbai, Prasad has cultivated a rich and diverse career in luxury hospitality. His professional journey includes significant roles at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels), InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), The Leela Kempinski, The Zuri Hospitality Group, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation — where he has consistently demonstrated leadership in people development and training excellence.


Continuing the Hyatt Journey

Before joining Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Prasad served as Learning Manager at Grand Hyatt Goa, where he successfully led property-level learning initiatives and contributed as an ASPAC Master Trainer for Hyatt Hotels Corporation. In this role, he designed and delivered impactful leadership and trainer capability workshops across the Asia Pacific region, fostering skill enhancement and engagement among hospitality professionals.
