SYDNEY, Australia — Marriott International is bringing the Courtyard by Marriott brand back to Sydney through a new partnership with Deicorp and Trilogy Hotels as part of the landmark Falcon & Alexander mixed-use development in Crows Nest.

The new Courtyard by Marriott Sydney Crows Nest will feature 100 guestrooms and occupy the first three levels of the $640 million Falcon & Alexander precinct. The hotel is scheduled to open in late 2027.

New Hospitality Hub for Sydney’s North Shore

Designed by TURNER, Falcon & Alexander will combine hospitality, residential, retail, and dining experiences within a single integrated development. The project aims to create a vibrant urban destination while supporting the growing demand for quality accommodation in Sydney’s expanding North Shore region.

The hotel will include modern guestrooms, meeting facilities, fitness amenities, food and beverage outlets, and a bar catering to both business and leisure travelers.

Marriott Strengthens Sydney Expansion Strategy

Marriott International described the agreement as an important milestone for its Australian growth strategy. The return of the Courtyard by Marriott brand to Sydney reflects increasing demand for internationally recognized hotel brands in well-connected urban precincts.

Industry leaders noted that improved transport connectivity and ongoing commercial growth are helping transform Sydney’s North Shore into a major extension of the city’s central business district.

Mixed-Use Development Creates New Lifestyle Destination

Beyond the hotel component, Falcon & Alexander will feature 212 residential apartments, retail outlets, and dining venues designed to complement the existing character of the Crows Nest village area.

The project is intended to create a walkable lifestyle precinct where hospitality, retail, and residential experiences operate within a connected environment.

Growing Collaboration Between Deicorp, Trilogy and Marriott

The announcement follows another recent collaboration between Deicorp, Trilogy Hotels, and Marriott International to develop Sydney’s first AC by Marriott hotel within the Hyde Metropolitan project.

With multiple projects underway, the partnership continues to strengthen Marriott’s presence in one of Australia’s most important hospitality markets while supporting Sydney’s long-term tourism and business travel growth.
