He also held the role of Director of Food and Beverage at Novotel Ahmedabad between October 2021 and June 2023.

His responsibilities across these roles included managing food and beverage operations, improving revenue performance through cost control measures and leading banquet and event functions.

Pathak has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having progressed through multiple operational roles at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach and Marigold Hyderabad between 2011 and 2019. He advanced from management trainee to banquet manager, handling large-scale events and restaurant operations.

He has also undertaken additional assignments, including a short-term role as Unit Head at Grand Mercure Gopalan Mall, contributing to operational transitions and team management.
