IHG Hotels & Resorts is accelerating its growth strategy in Vietnam with the signing of a new two-hotel agreement that will strengthen its presence across both luxury leisure and business travel segments. Developed in partnership with Vietnamese real estate company Meraki Land, the projects underscore IHG’s confidence in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing hospitality markets.

Regent Ho Tram to Enhance Luxury Coastal Tourism

Scheduled to open in 2032, Regent Ho Tram will introduce a new luxury beachfront destination along Vietnam’s southern coastline. Designed to attract affluent domestic and international travelers, the resort will offer 220 accommodation units, including elegant suites, private pool villas, and premium sky villas.

Guests will also enjoy a range of upscale amenities, including restaurants, wellness facilities, and branded residences. Located within convenient reach of Ho Chi Minh City, the development is expected to benefit from ongoing infrastructure improvements and increasing demand for high-end coastal experiences.

The project further strengthens Ho Tram’s emergence as one of Vietnam’s most promising luxury tourism destinations.

Crowne Plaza Saigon Binh Duong to Serve Business Travelers

IHG’s second development under the agreement is Crowne Plaza Saigon Binh Duong, scheduled to open in 2029. The 221-room hotel will be positioned within a mixed-use complex featuring residential, retail, and commercial components.

Binh Duong is one of Vietnam’s largest industrial and economic centers, home to numerous multinational corporations and ongoing investment across manufacturing, logistics, and technology sectors. The hotel is expected to cater to growing domestic and international business travel demand while providing modern accommodations and services tailored to corporate guests.

Partnership Supports Long-Term Growth

The projects strengthen the collaboration between IHG and Meraki Land, reflecting a shared vision to support Vietnam’s expanding hospitality landscape.

Vietnam Continues to Attract Global Hotel Investment

Vietnam remains a strategic market for international hospitality brands due to its robust tourism growth, expanding middle class, and increasing foreign investment. Hotel operators continue to increase their presence across both established and emerging destinations as travel demand rises.

IHG already operates a substantial portfolio across the country and maintains an extensive pipeline of future developments. The addition of Regent Ho Tram and Crowne Plaza Saigon Binh Duong reinforces the company’s commitment to long-term growth in Vietnam.

As global hospitality brands compete for market share in Southeast Asia, these projects highlight strong confidence in Vietnam’s future as a leading destination for both leisure tourism and business travel.
