Novotel Opens First Bhubaneswar Hotel, Marks Accor Debut in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR — Novotel has opened its first hotel in Bhubaneswar, marking the entry of parent company Accor into Odisha and giving the state capital its first internationally branded hotel. The 118-room property sits near Biju Patnaik International Airport and Bhubaneswar Railway Station.
Accor Enters Odisha Market
The opening places Novotel Bhubaneswar close to Kalinga Stadium, major commercial districts and cultural sites including the Lingaraj Temple. The location gives business and leisure travelers easy access to the city center.
Novotel designed the property around its Longevity Everyday philosophy, a brand approach built on four pillars: eating, sleeping, moving and meeting. The hotel targets business travelers, families and corporate professionals visiting the region.
Novotel Bhubaneswar Rooms and Event Space
The hotel offers Superior and Executive rooms alongside suites built for extended stays and family travel. Interiors combine modern design with functional layouts suited to both short business trips and longer visits.
Novotel Bhubaneswar includes about 12,000 square feet of event and social space. The venues accommodate weddings, conferences, corporate gatherings and private celebrations.
Dining Options
Food Exchange serves as the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, offering international and regional dishes. Tea & Tonic provides a casual setting for beverages and light refreshments throughout the day.
E2O – East Essence operates as the hotel's Pan-Asian kitchen and bar, serving Asian dishes in a social dining environment. The hotel also runs a fitness center and leisure facilities under Novotel's wellness-focused approach.
Accor's Eastern India Growth
Neelabh Sahay, General Manager of Novotel Bhubaneswar Janpath, said the opening reflects the city's rising profile in business, tourism and sports. He called it a milestone in Accor's expansion across Eastern India.
