Renowned for his work in ultra-luxury, lifestyle, and boutique segments, Matthieu’s primary mandate will be to launch and strategically position the hotel as a new benchmark for guest experience and operational performance in Dubai's competitive landscape.

Matthieu Busschaert’s most recent achievement underscores his caliber as a top-tier hospitality leader. As the General Manager for the MGallery Hotel Collection in Manila, he not only spearheaded the property's successful pre-opening but also led it to an extraordinary culinary milestone.

His accomplishments range from launching award-winning rooftop venues in Vietnam to optimizing flagship F&B concepts in destinations like Dubai and Cannes, demonstrating a unique ability to merge operational precision with a bold, creative vision.

A graduate of Ecole de Savignac and Cornell University, he also holds a degree from Sorbonne Université and has completed international programs at Johnson & Wales University. Fluent in multiple languages, his leadership style is inherently multicultural.
His profile is further distinguished by a passion for adventure; he holds a US private pilot license and is an avid motorcyclist who recently conquered the challenging Mindoro Island loop in the Philippines—a testament to the determination and strategic thinking he will apply to this new pre-opening challenge.
