Richard Poskanzer has been appointed General Manager at Virgin Hotels Nashville

Virgin Hotels Nashville, located in the vibrant Midtown neighborhood, is thrilled to announce Richard Poskanzer as the hotel's new General Manager. In this role, Poskanzer will oversee the operations of the 262-room luxury lifestyle hotel as well as popular dining outlets including Commons Club, The Pool Club, Funny Library Coffee Shop, and The Late Great.

A native of Albany, NY, Poskanzer graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Hotel Administration. Poskanzer joins Virgin Hotels following an extensive tenure with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, where he honed his expertise across multiple leadership roles in iconic destinations including Nashville, Palo Alto, and Philadelphia. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations for Picerne Residential, overseeing the development and operations of luxury communities across California, Nevada, and Colorado.

Outside of hospitality, Poskanzer's lifelong appreciation for music continues to play a key role in his career. A former saxophone player, he understands the importance of collaboration and adaptability — qualities that are vital in his role at Virgin Hotels Nashville. As he steps into his new position, Poskanzer looks forward to leading a team focused on the guest experience in a city where music and hospitality go hand in hand.
