Travis Breen has been appointed Director of Sales, Marketing & Events at Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is proud to announce the appointment of Travis Breen as Director of Sales, Marketing & Events. Breen will report directly to Interim General Manager Claudia Dowdy and bring his extensive 24-year hospitality industry expertise to the team.

Breen brings over two decades of hospitality leadership experience to the hotel, which recently launched a new restaurant, The Tradition, An American Kitchen, and bar, Heydey Social Club.

With a distinguished career spanning major hospitality brands including Kimpton, Hilton, Intercontinental, and Choice Hotels, Breen has held numerous senior leadership positions including Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Vice President of Business Performance, and Vice President of Sales & Revenue Management.

Working closely with the leadership team, Breen's responsibilities will include overseeing sales, marketing, and event strategies for Hyatt Centric Austin. His approach is deeply rooted in team collaboration, having worked in virtually every position in a hotel and believing that exceptional people are the keys to creating the most memorable hospitality experiences.

When not leading hospitality teams, Breen enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their three children. An avid hiker and RV traveler, he recently explored the Great Lakes and Michigan's countryside with his family.
