NOHGA SHINJUKU GYOEN Hotel Tokyo is scheduled to open on July 15, 2027, with reservations starting on October 15, 2026. Nomura Real Estate Hotels announced the property as the fourth hotel under the NOHGA HOTEL lifestyle brand. All 72 guestrooms feature private balconies overlooking Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

NOHGA SHINJUKU GYOEN Hotel Tokyo Brings Garden Views to Every Room

The hotel sits just a two minute walk from Shinjuku gyoemmae Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. It is described as the first hotel in Japan where every guestroom views the garden, according to research by Trending Future Research Institute. The hotel is themed around Capturing Nature's Tone.

Rooms measure 30 square metres or more and combine wood, curated artwork and Japanese craftsmanship. The top floor holds two GYOEN SUITE rooms of about 70 square metres. Each has a balcony spanning about 13 metres. This makes the property one of the most distinctive Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden hotel options in the city.

Dining and Rooftop Bar at the New Tokyo Lifestyle Hotel

A bakery, cafe and bar lounge will occupy the first floor. A spiral staircase connects them to a second floor restaurant built around wood fired cooking. Guests can watch the flames from every seat. Local residents are also welcome to visit.

The 13th floor rooftop bar has a terrace about 25 metres long. It offers panoramic views of the garden and the Tokyo skyline. The menu draws on the tradition of charcoal cooking and highlights natural flavours.

Wellbeing Activities and Local Connections

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden has a history of more than 400 years. The hotel plans to offer garden walks, picnics, running, yoga and meditation. These activities aim to help guests restore balance between mind and body. They also connect guests with the local community.

The intimate scale of 72 rooms allows personalised service. Landscaping inspired by local flora surrounds the building and changes with the seasons. The design blurs the line between city, hotel and nature.

Reservations and Property Details

Room reservations open on October 15, 2026 through the official hotel website. The site will gradually introduce the concept, rooms, restaurants, bars and interior design. The hotel is located at 1 6 13 Shinjuku, Shinjuku ku, Tokyo. It is a 13 minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station.
