Courtyard by Marriott has opened a new hotel in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh in 2026, marking the brand’s first entry into the state, the company said, as it expands its footprint in southern India to cater to rising demand from pilgrimage and business travel.

The company confirmed that Courtyard by Marriott Tirupati has commenced operations in 2026, with the property now open to guests. The opening represents Marriott International’s debut under the Courtyard brand in Andhra Pradesh.

The hotel is located in Tirupati, a major pilgrimage destination known for the Sri Venkateswara Temple, attracting significant domestic and international visitor traffic throughout the year. Officials said the location was selected to align with steady travel demand.

The company stated that the property is designed to serve both religious tourism and business travel segments.

Property features and capacity

The hotel includes guest rooms and suites along with dining outlets and meeting facilities, according to the company. It has been developed to accommodate short-stay pilgrims as well as corporate travellers visiting the region.
