Trichy, Tamil Nadu – June 19, 2025: Courtyard by Marriott Trichy has rolled out a thoughtful green initiative by launching a tree-planting campaign aimed at planting 432 saplings across the city. This eco-conscious effort, started on World Environment Day, is being carried out in collaboration with local schools and the State Institute of Hotel Management.

So far, nearly 250 saplings have already been planted in public spaces, parks, and educational institutions. The hotel team, students, and environmental volunteers have come together to support the initiative, which is expected to be completed by August 2025.

The campaign reflects Marriott International’s global sustainability goals while showcasing local responsibility. It also aligns with India’s push for greener cities and community engagement through corporate social responsibility (CSR).

A hotel spokesperson said,

“At Courtyard by Marriott Trichy, we believe hospitality extends beyond service—it’s about building a sustainable future for the communities we serve.”
