HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., June 8, 2026 — BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse (Nasdaq: BJRI) has announced the Stars & Stripes Pizookie®, a limited-time patriotic dessert arriving in all locations on June 11, timed to coincide with the summer's international soccer tournament and the United States' 250th anniversary the Semiquincentennial.

The new Pizookie® builds on one of the casual dining chain's most recognized menu items, adding a seasonal format designed for shared celebration. The Stars & Stripes Pizookie® features a fresh-baked chocolate chunk cookie base topped with scoops of vanilla bean ice cream, fresh strawberries, a strawberry purée drizzle and red, white and blue sprinkles. The dessert is available for dine-in only for a limited time across the brand's more than 200 locations in 31 states.

BJ's Stars and Stripes Pizookie Taps Into Summer Soccer and Patriotic Dining Occasions

The dessert launch forms part of a wider summer push from BJ's that positions its restaurants as watch-party destinations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which sees the United States co-host the tournament alongside Canada and Mexico. With large-screen televisions, a full bar program and a menu built around group dining and sharing, BJ's has structured its summer marketing calendar around the dual draw of international soccer and Fourth of July celebrations.

Heidi Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer at BJ's Restaurants, Inc., outlined the strategic intent behind the summer lineup. "Summer is all about getting together and enjoying those fun and celebratory moments especially during the most anticipated soccer tournament in the world and in honor of America's 250th birthday," she said. "With large TVs, an energetic atmosphere and a menu built for sharing, BJ's is the ultimate place to watch every game this summer. The Stars & Stripes Pizookie® was designed to elevate those watch-party moments and give guests even more ways to celebrate together."

Firework Fizz Mocktail and Grass Attack IPA Complete BJ's Summer Hat Trick

Alongside the Pizookie®, BJ's is introducing two additional limited-time items to complete what the company describes as a summer hat trick. The Firework Fizz, a nonalcoholic beverage, launches June 25 and features Monin Blue Raspberry syrup, Starry soda, whipped cream and strawberry popping boba a visually driven, shareable drink designed for the social media and watch-party occasion.

On the craft beer side, Grass Attack an all-new seasonal cold IPA joins the rotation alongside BJ's standing portfolio of 14 proprietary handcrafted beers. The beers are brewed at BJ's brewing operations across four states and by independent third-party craft brewers. BJ's award-winning brewery has accumulated more than 270 medals and awards for brewing excellence since the brand entered craft brewing in 1996, including the 2025 Vibe Vista Award for Best Beer Program and the 2024 Best Overall Beverage Program. BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse Reinforces Its Position as a Casual Dining Watch-Party Destination

Founded in 1978, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse operates over 200 locations across 31 US states. The brand occupies the casual dining segment with a menu spanning its signature deep-dish pizzas, slow-roasted entrees, wings and the Pizookie a category the company says has been widely imitated but not replicated. All locations offer dine-in, takeout, delivery and large-party catering, positioning the chain to capture both in-restaurant celebration occasions and at-home demand.

The summer 2026 limited-time strategy reflects a broader industry pattern among casual dining chains seeking to drive incremental visits through seasonal menu events tied to cultural moments. With the FIFA World Cup and the Semiquincentennial occupying the same summer calendar window, BJ's Stars & Stripes Pizookie® and its companion launches represent a deliberate alignment of product development with two of the highest-traffic entertainment occasions of the year.

The Stars & Stripes Pizookie® is available for dine-in from June 11, with the Firework Fizz following from June 25. Both items are available for a limited time only. Further details and location information are available at bjsrestaurants.com.
