- Intercontinental Parkroyal (Eros), New Delhi (2000-2004) – Held the role of Senior Captain-Banquet Operations and Sales.
- Fortune Select Global, Gurgaon (2004-2016) – Worked for 12 years, eventually becoming Food and Beverage Manager, leading banquet operations, restaurant services, and sales promotions.
During these years, Mukherjee developed expertise in
event planning, catering management, corporate sales, and customer relationship management, making him a sought-after leader in the hospitality space.
Transition to Wildlife and Eco-Tourism (2016-2022)
In 2016, Mukherjee moved into the

During his time at these
wildlife luxury lodges, he introduced
eco-friendly tourism initiatives, curated unique guest experiences, and maintained excellent guest satisfaction ratings.
Current Role: General Manager of Pushkara Sarovar Portico (2022-Present)

August 2022, Amit Mukherjee has been leading
Pushkara Sarovar Portico, Dibrugarh, a
57-room luxury property in the
Tea City of Assam.
His responsibilities as
General Manager include:
