Atmosphere Wellness appoints Heidi Grimwood as Senior Vice President of ELE|NA

Atmosphere Wellness Pvt Ltd has announced the promotion of Heidi Grimwood to the position of Senior Vice President of ELE|NA, the company’s flagship wellness brand. Since joining the organisation as Assistant Vice President in 2020, Grimwood has played a pivotal role in shaping ELE|NA into one of the Maldives’ most innovative and internationally expanding wellness brands.

Grimwood’s extensive career in the wellness industry began at the age of 19 and spans more than 25 years. Her global experience includes key leadership roles such as Co-Director at FG Innovation Management Ltd in Ireland, founder of the first corporate gym at Virgin Atlantic Airways HQ, and spa leadership at acclaimed destinations including Inchydoney Lodge & Spa, Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa, the QE2 Oceanliner, One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, and Steiner Transocean.

Under her guidance, ELE|NA has developed into a brand known for its transformative wellness journeys, fusion of wellbeing with gourmet cuisine, and expansion across multiple resorts. Her strategic vision and creative approach have been central to this evolution.

In her new role, Grimwood will oversee ELE|NA’s continued expansion across South Asia and the Middle East, while strengthening the brand’s footprint in the Maldives through the creation of new sanctuaries and immersive experiences. She will also lead initiatives to grow the brand’s business ventures in wellness amenities and essentials, and spearhead the development of the ELE|NA Wellness Academy, designed to train and inspire the next generation of wellness professionals.

Commenting on ELE|NA’s growth, Grimwood stated that the brand’s success reflects a belief in wellness that is accessible, experiential, and deeply personal. She emphasized that the brand’s expansion is not just about creating physical spaces but nurturing a global movement in holistic well-being that is sustainable and soulful.

Recognised as a thought leader and international speaker, Grimwood is widely respected for her advocacy of innovation and sustainability within the wellness sector. Her contributions have been acknowledged with prestigious accolades, including Global Spa Leader of the Year 2022 at the World Spa & Wellness Awards and Wellness Personality of the Year at the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024.
