Leadership Responsibilities
As General Manager, Douglas will oversee all operational and financial aspects of the 386-key upscale business hotel. He will focus on driving strategic growth, enhancing operational performance, and maintaining the hallmark standards of hospitality excellence that guests have come to expect.
A Distinguished Career Path
Born and raised in Scotland, Douglas began his hospitality journey in London after completing his Hotel and Catering studies. His career spans iconic establishments such as Grosvenor House, The Royal Lancaster, The Hyatt Carlton Tower, and The London Hilton on Park Lane.
At The Landmark London, he advanced to Hotel Manager before becoming General Manager at The Landmark Bangkok, where he significantly expanded the hotel’s profitability and brand influence.
Douglas is a St. Julian's Scholar, earned a scholarship at Cornell University, and received an honorary degree from Glion Institute of Higher Education in 2008. He also serves as an honorary member of the 16th Chapter of Eta Sigma Delta, awarded by Les Roches Marbella.

Outside of work, Douglas is an avid Manchester United fan and enjoys fine dining, music, theatre, rugby, and golf. He is a passionate mentor, committed to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of hospitality professionals.
