Lockton has announced the appointments of two senior leaders to expand and deepen its People Solutions capabilities across the Asia region, reinforcing its commitment to tailored employee benefits, reinsurance solutions, and human capital advisory services. Effective 9 February 2026, Subhash Chandra will serve as Head of Life & Health Reinsurance – People Solutions, Asia, and Julian Park will take on the role of Head of People Solutions, South Korea, marking a strategic step in Lockton’s regional growth agenda across diverse markets.

Subhash Chandra to Lead Life & Health Reinsurance People Solutions

Subhash Chandra joins Lockton as Head of Life & Health Reinsurance – People Solutions, Asia, based in Singapore and reporting to Cedric Luah, Head of People Solutions – Asia. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening Lockton’s life and health reinsurance offerings and enhancing advisory capabilities that support insurer and reinsurer clients across markets with sophisticated product and risk strategies.

Chandra brings over 18 years of industry experience from senior leadership roles at global reinsurance and broking firms, including Munich Re, Aon Reinsurance Solutions, and Pacific Life Re. His expertise spans product strategy, portfolio management, and solution design that aligns employee benefits with risk mitigation and financial security objectives — important differentiators in a competitive reinsurance environment. 

Strengthening Reinsurance Advisory and Market Reach

In assuming his role, Chandra will collaborate with Lockton’s placement teams and regional leadership to expand the firm’s life and health reinsurance presence while ensuring tailored solutions for insurers and intermediary clients navigating complex market conditions and regulatory environments.

Julian Park to Lead People Solutions in South Korea

Julian Park joins Lockton as Head of People Solutions, South Korea, where he will report to both Ben Son, CEO of Lockton Korea, and Cedric Luah, Head of People Solutions – Asia. Based in Seoul, Park’s role will focus on establishing and scaling Lockton’s People Solutions offerings tailored to the Korean market, aligning HR strategy with broader organisational goals and client needs.

Park brings extensive consulting and HR leadership experience across global markets, including senior roles at Aon Korea and Marsh, where he led reward strategy, organisational development, and HR transformation initiatives. His expertise encompasses change management, total rewards, talent solutions, and value‑added employee services. 

Expanding Market Coverage and Service Excellence

In his new position, Park will lead local teams and design differentiated People Solutions strategies that support clients in South Korea through talent management, benefits optimisation, HR advisory, and workforce engagement — areas that are increasingly important in competitive labour markets and diversified regulatory contexts.
