Curefoods, announced that it has made a strategic investment in Dras Ice, a pioneer in providing pure, contaminant-free packaged ice solutions. This will enable Curefoods to utilise Dras Ice’s robust frozen chain logistics to enhance distribution capabilities for their cloud kitchens and quick-service restaurants (QSRs). The rapid growth of quick commerce (Q-commerce) has created a significant demand for high-quality packaged ice. This marks a significant step in Curefoods’ journey to enhance its operational ecosystem and support the growing demand for high-quality ice products nationwide, stated a release issued by Curefoods.

Dras Ice, inspired by India’s coldest inhabited village, Dras, caters to key industries such as HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering), modern trade channels, and Q-commerce platforms. Dras Ice ensures businesses benefit from premium-quality products tailored to their operational requirements by addressing the need for safe and reliable ice solutions.

Gokul Kandhi, chief operating officer, Curefoods said “Our collaboration with Dras Ice strengthens our ability to support the operational needs of cloud kitchens while addressing a clear market gap in the packaged ice segment.
