Global Hotel Alliance Adds Four Brands to Portfolio
Global Hotel Alliance continues to grow its network of independent hotel brands through the addition of four hospitality groups with properties spanning multiple regions. The new members collectively contribute 22 hotels to the alliance.
The expansion strengthens the alliance's portfolio, which now includes more than 50 hotel brands and over 1,000 hotels across 100 countries.

GHA DISCOVERY Loyalty Program Continues Growth
The expansion supports the continued development of GHA DISCOVERY, the alliance’s global loyalty platform. Members gain access to additional destinations, accommodations and travel experiences through the enlarged network.
Chris Hartley, Chief Executive Officer of Global Hotel Alliance, said the latest additions further diversify the alliance’s hospitality offering.
"Our continued expansion reflects the strength of our alliance proposition and the growing desire for collaboration within the independent sector," Hartley said. "Each of these hotel brands brings its own identity and character, enriching the alliance network."
Existing Brands Continue Opening New Hotels
Global Hotel Alliance also reported continued expansion among its existing member brands. Since the start of 2026, alliance partners have added 14 new hotels and resorts across key international markets.
Recent openings include Capella Kyoto in Japan, Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi in Florence, Corinthia Rome, Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp in Zambia and Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel in Australia.
Independent Hospitality Sector Gains Momentum
The addition of new brands reflects growing collaboration within the independent hospitality sector as hotel groups seek broader distribution, marketing support and loyalty program benefits while maintaining their unique identities.
For travelers, the expansion increases access to a wider range of independent luxury, boutique and lifestyle hotels across established and emerging destinations worldwide.
