NewcrestImage Acquisition of The Hotel Zags Portland adds a luxury lifestyle boutique property to the company's growing portfolio. The Dallas based firm announced the deal on October 12, 2026. The hotel sits in downtown Portland, Oregon, and has 174 guestrooms.
NewcrestImage will manage the property in house. The deal reflects a clear growth plan built on hotel acquisitions USA 2026.

Mehul Patel is managing partner of NewcrestImage. He said the hotel builds the portfolio through both geographic and segment diversification. He added that it shows the company's commitment to acquisition as a core growth strategy.
