Paytm Travel, Agoda Partner to offer hotel bookings across Indian, global destinations on Paytm app

One97 Communications Limited (OCL), which owns the brand Paytm, has partnered with digital travel platform Agoda to offer hotel booking services on the Paytm app.

The company said this partnership expands Paytm Travel’s offerings to hotel bookings—alongside flights, buses, and trains—by enabling users to access Agoda’s range of accommodation options across Indian and global destinations, along with 'exclusive deals.'

Vikash Jalan, chief executive officer of Paytm Travel said the partnership with Agoda marks an important step in expanding Paytm Travel’s services to include 'seamless' hotel booking options.

"This collaboration allows us to offer travelers access to a wide range of quality accommodations while ensuring convenience and affordability. With this partnership, we strengthen our position as a comprehensive travel solution, catering to diverse needs and enhancing the overall travel experience," he added.

Agoda's chief commercial officer, Damien Pfirsch said by joining forces with Paytm Travel, Agoda is giving travelers even higher levels of convenience when it comes to booking their trip.

"Our combined efforts aim to simplify the booking process while making it even simpler to pay will ensure that even more Indian travelers are able to see the world for less," he added.

One97 Communications said as an International Air Transport Association (IATA) accredited travel agent, Paytm Travel ensures a reliable booking experience, with features like free cancellations, instant refunds and travel insurance.
