MANCHESTER, United Kingdom — Starwood Hotels has appointed Collin Ten Dam as General Manager of Treehouse Hotel Manchester, placing an experienced lifestyle property leader in the role as the hotel prepares to open its rooftop 14th floor.
Ten Dam joins at a significant phase in the property's development, overseeing the debut of The Nest rooftop bar, Sister Moon restaurant and nine premium suites with skyline views.
Collin Ten Dam Brings Marriott Leadership Background to Treehouse Manchester
Ten Dam joins from Marriott International, where he most recently served as Cluster General Manager for Leeds Marriott Hotel and Delta Hotels York, leading two flagship properties across the Pennines region.
His background covers financial management, guest experience, revenue growth and strategic market positioning across lifestyle and full-service hotel properties.
Rooftop Expansion Marks Next Phase for Treehouse Manchester
The 14th floor addition includes The Nest rooftop bar, Sister Moon — a new rooftop restaurant from Chef Sam Grainger and collaborators Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford — and nine premium suites. Starwood describes the additions as the final phase of the hotel's debut, further positioning the property in Manchester's lifestyle hospitality market.
Starwood Hotels CEO Raul Leal welcomed the appointment. "Collin brings experience in lifestyle properties," Leal said. "We look forward to his impact as we elevate the guest experience and expand our portfolio."
