United Hospitality Management has appointed Shadi Refai as Cluster General Manager for Arabella Beach Hotel Kuwait, Vignette Collection by IHG, and an upcoming hotel in Kuwait City, strengthening its regional leadership as it accelerates expansion across the Middle East.

In his new role, Shadi Refai will oversee both the operational and strategic direction of Arabella Beach Hotel Kuwait and a soon-to-open second property in Kuwait City. His responsibilities include driving commercial performance, strengthening market positioning, and managing overall hotel operations across the cluster.
The role also places a strong focus on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and aligning both properties with the company’s regional development strategy.

Shadi Refai brings over 20 years of experience in the global hospitality industry, having worked with leading luxury and upscale brands including Hilton, Shangri-La, Sofitel, Four Seasons, Wyndham, and Centara. His career spans key markets across the Middle East, Asia, and the United States.
He has built expertise in hotel openings, operational leadership, and commercial performance management, contributing to business growth and operational consistency across diverse hospitality environments.
Previous Role at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah
Shadi Refai served as Hotel Manager at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, where he oversaw day-to-day operations and supported the property’s commercial positioning in a competitive beachfront market.
His earlier roles include senior leadership positions such as Director of Operations and General Manager, where he delivered operational improvements and financial performance across multiple properties.
