NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel has appointed Vannesa Bordoy as Executive Chef. She leads all culinary programming at the Nashville hotel, bringing an international career spanning Ecuador and the United States to the role.

Bordoy takes charge of the culinary operations at SongTeller Hotel, overseeing dining across Parton's Live, the hotel's performance venue, and Jolene's, the property's greenroom bar. Her responsibilities cover menu development, kitchen operations, guest dining experiences and team leadership across both outlets.

Professional background 

Vannesa Bordoy comes to SongTeller Hotel from the Graduate Hotel's White Limozeen in Nashville, the Dolly Parton-inspired rooftop pool bar and restaurant in Midtown. Vannesa Bordoy served there as Executive Chef, having previously worked up through Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef at the same property.

Her work at White Limozeen covered full restaurant operations, menu development, inventory, cost control, quality assurance, large-scale banquet and event production and front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.

 Managing a high-profile rooftop venue in one of Nashville's most competitive dining markets is demanding work, and Bordoy did it across multiple roles at the same address.

Education Background 

Vannesa Bordoy holds a Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy from Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in Quito, Ecuador. Her academic training covered Japanese fusion, French and Italian traditions, South American cooking, pastry arts, sushi and bartending. That breadth of culinary education is directly reflected in how she approaches menu development across different dining formats.
