Emirates has clarified that it is not preparing to restart direct flights to Tel Aviv at this time, rejecting recent reports suggesting the airline would soon resume services to Israel’s main airport. The carrier said that flights between Dubai and Tel Aviv remain suspended and that there are currently no firm plans to bring them back.

The service was originally launched in 2022 after diplomatic ties between the United Arab Emirates and Israel strengthened. However, Emirates suspended operations to Tel Aviv nearly two years ago because of regional security concerns and conflict situations affecting the safety of flight operations.

Some media outlets had reported that Emirates was making arrangements for a return, including preserving landing and take‑off slots at Ben Gurion Airport. The airline responded by saying that while such reports exist, no definite schedule or restart date has been set and that safety remains a key consideration in any decision about restoring the route.

Emirates noted that customers who want to travel between Dubai and Tel Aviv can still connect via partner airline flydubai, which operates direct services on that route. This arrangement allows passengers to access Emirates’ wider global network through codeshare bookings.

The broader Middle East aviation picture remains sensitive to geopolitical developments. While some airlines and markets have resumed flights to Tel Aviv or other regional destinations, others remain cautious amid ongoing tensions and periodic changes in security conditions.
