Senior bureaucrat Nidhi Chhibber has taken charge as the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog after the completion of the tenure of BVR Subrahmanyam. Chhibber, a 1994-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, steps into the role at a crucial time as the government’s premier policy think tank continues to drive key economic and development initiatives.

She succeeds BVR Subrahmanyam, who served as CEO and played a significant role in advancing policy reforms, innovation initiatives, and strategic development programs across sectors.
