Garner Hotel Jim Corbett Opening 2027 will bring a new branded stay to Ramnagar in Uttarakhand. IHG Hotels & Resorts and United Hospitality Management signed the deal for the town at the entrance to Jim Corbett National Park. The hotel will have 50 rooms and open in the second quarter of 2027. The property will sit on about three acres. Victorian Corporation will own it. United Hospitality Management India will run it. The signing adds to IHG Hotels India expansion. A detailed list of facilities has not been released yet.

Ramnagar has road links to several cities across North India. Visitors come to the area throughout the year. About the Garner Brand Behind the Jim Corbett Hotel

Garner is IHG's newest midscale brand, launched in 2023. It has since reached 100 open hotels worldwide. IHG says this makes it the fastest growing brand in its history. The brand centers on a convenient location, a sound night's sleep and a good breakfast.

Garner is also built for conversions. Existing hotels can join without starting from scratch. Every hotel uses IHG's quality standards, enterprise systems and rewards program.

Sudeep Jain is IHG's Managing Director for Southwest Asia. He said the brand's momentum in India reflects a strong fit between its proposition and the needs of owners and travelers. He added that this shows up as growing owner confidence and a stronger development pipeline.

IHG's Growing Presence in India

IHG operates 53 hotels in India across seven brands. They are Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Vignette Collection, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express.

Another 110 hotels are in the pipeline. They are due to open over the next three to five years. India is one of IHG's priority markets worldwide. Garner aims to broaden its reach in leisure destinations, emerging commercial centers and fast growing secondary cities.

Deepika Arora is Managing Director of UHM India. She said the partnership pairs UHM's local operating knowledge with IHG's brands, systems and distribution. UHM is expanding across India, including in leisure and emerging markets.

Parveen Saraswat is a director at Victorian Corporation. He said Jim Corbett is growing as a year round wildlife and leisure destination. Demand for reliable rooms is rising. He said Garner's price point and IHG's distribution platform made the brand the right fit.
