In total, more than 150 students were placed across a range of sectors including quick service restaurants (QSRs), FMCG companies, retail operations, co-working spaces, airport outlets, corporate catering and facility management services. The diversity of placements reflects expanding career pathways for hospitality graduates beyond traditional hotel roles.
Additionally, several final-year students are progressing towards international placements, underlining the institute’s industry linkages and exposure to global employment opportunities. Among final-year students, Preeti Chouhan secured the top rank and was also recognised for excellence in Food and Beverage Service and Accommodation Operations. Hedaoo Rushil Avinash was awarded the second position in the same category.
In the second-year Bachelor of Science programme, Rahil Sharma was named topper, followed by Nalla Bipin Teja as second topper. Meghana Bhutada was recognised as the top performer in the vegetarian course.
First-year honours were awarded to Sattwikee Ray as the top student, with Akshit Baliyan securing the second position. In the Craftsmanship Certificate Course in Food Production and Patisserie, Kovvuri Pavani and Amaresh Samal were recognised as first and second toppers respectively.
Beyond academics, students were also acknowledged for achievements in inter-college sports competitions and creative activities such as flower arrangement contests. Participation and performance in national-level culinary competitions, including India Skills and Everest Better Kitchen, were also recognised during the event.
