Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa, formerly Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, has officially rebranded as of January 1, 2025. The transition marks a significant milestone as the resort continues to operate under the Accor umbrella while preparing for a full relaunch by the end of 2025 as part of Accor’s Luxury Lifestyle portfolio.

In an announcement, Stanislaw Pajdzinski, General Manager of Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa, stated that the temporary name change reflects the resort’s evolution as it aligns with the new brand identity. While some existing features no longer adhere to Mövenpick brand standards, the property is undergoing a series of enhancements to elevate its luxury and lifestyle offerings.

The upgrade project includes refurbishments across all beach villas, residences, restaurants, the arrival jetty, and public spaces. Upgrades to the water villas are scheduled for the low season of 2026. The focus remains on refreshing interiors and aesthetics to create a modern luxury ambiance in line with the new brand direction. Pajdzinski assured that the transition will not involve disruptive structural work or noise, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Despite the rebranding, the property’s ownership, management, and dedicated team remain unchanged. Guests can expect the same level of exceptional service and atmosphere throughout this period. All existing and future bookings will retain their rates, inclusions, and contractual terms, with members of Accor Live Limitless and Accor Plus continuing to enjoy their exclusive benefits.

“This rebranding is more than a name change—it signifies the evolution of our identity and reinforces our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional and personalised experiences. Our goal is to enhance the quality and excellence of our offerings while ensuring unparalleled experiences for our valued repeat guests and future visitors,” said Pajdzinski.
