Langham Expands In China With New Hotels In Xiong’an New Area
Langham expands in China with new Cordis and Ying’nFlo hotels in Xiong’an New Area, supporting tourism and hospitality growth.
Langham expands in China with the signing of two new hotel projects in Xiong’an New Area, a major state-backed urban development project in northern China. The expansion introduces the Cordis Hotels & Resorts and Ying’nFlo brands to the rapidly developing destination.
Langham Hospitality Group signed a management agreement with China Xiong’an Group Public Service Management Company for the development of both properties. The agreement highlights growing opportunities within China’s tourism and hospitality industry.
The project will include a 180-room Cordis hotel and a 120-room Ying’nFlo lifestyle hotel. Both properties are expected to open by mid-2028 and will operate within the same complex, offering guests multiple accommodation options while improving operational efficiency.
Xiong’an New Area is being developed as a future-focused city project supporting the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei regional growth strategy. The area is expected to attract increasing business and tourism demand as organisations gradually relocate from Beijing.
Industry experts believe the expansion strengthens Langham Hospitality Group’s position within the competitive China hotel market. The company continues expanding across Asia through luxury, lifestyle, and upper-upscale hospitality projects.
Cordis Hotels China is also preparing for additional openings in Xi’an and Kunshan, while Ying’nFlo China projects continue progressing in Dongguan and Suzhou.
Langham’s international development pipeline further includes projects in Bangkok, Venice, Kuala Lumpur, Saudi Arabia, Seattle, and Tokyo, reflecting the company’s long-term global hospitality growth strategy.
