One&Only Reethi Rah donates over $15,000 to Fiyavathi Children’s Shelter

One&Only Reethi Rah, the all-villa private island resort, has made a significant contribution to the Fiyavathi Children’s Shelter in Hulhumalé. On 30 January 2025, the resort’s management team visited the shelter to present a donation valued at over MVR 237,000 (approximately USD 15,000). The donation included essential items such as beds, mattresses, air conditioners, flat-screen TVs, and desktop computers, all intended to enhance the comfort, well-being, entertainment, and education of the children.

Fiyavathi, the largest state care facility in Hulhumalé, currently provides shelter to 63 underprivileged children, ensuring their basic needs and educational requirements are met. This donation is one of several made by One&Only Reethi Rah to Fiyavathi as part of the resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. The resort is committed to supporting local communities in the Maldives, and continues to collaborate with organisations like Fiyavathi Children’s Shelter to develop initiatives that positively impact those in need.
