Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is elevating its culinary calendar this month with two exclusive Michelin-starred dining experiences at its signature contemporary French fine dining restaurant, Le Beaulieu.

Scheduled from May 29 to 31, the events will feature internationally acclaimed Michelin-starred guest chefs presenting curated culinary experiences inspired by French gastronomy, Japanese precision and Provençal flavours.

Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Celebrates Culinary Excellence with Michelin-Starred Events

On May 29 and 30, Le Beaulieu’s celebrated “Rendez-vous” dining series will welcome Chef Hiroyuki Matsumoto of the one-Michelin-starred Restaurant Prunier.

Chef Matsumoto will collaborate with Le Beaulieu’s Chef de Cuisine Charles Degrendele for a refined four-hands dinner blending French culinary heritage with Japanese artistry and seasonal ingredients.

The exclusive dining experience celebrates the legacy of two iconic culinary institutions - Le Beaulieu, established in 1901, and Restaurant Prunier, established in 1934.

The dinners will be served from 6 PM to 10:30 PM and are priced at:

VND 4,900,000++ per person  
VND 7,400,000++ with wine pairing

Chef Matsumoto previously trained at legendary French establishments including the three-Michelin-starred La Côte d’Or and is recognised for bringing contemporary finesse to authentic French gastronomy.

Provençal Sunday Brunch Experience

On May 31, Le Beaulieu will also host a special Provençal edition of its Sunday Brunch featuring Chef Louis Gachet from the one-Michelin-starred Le Feuilée.

The brunch experience will showcase Provençal-inspired dishes alongside French classics, premium seafood, artisanal cold cuts and French cheeses, complemented by live jazz performances.

The Sunday Brunch will be available from 12 PM to 3:30 PM with pricing options including:

VND 3,500,000++ per person  
VND 4,500,000++ with free-flow wine  
VND 5,500,000++ with free-flow wine and Champagne

Children under six will dine free, while children aged six to eleven will receive a 50% discount.

The Michelin-starred dining events form part of Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi’s celebrations marking its 125th anniversary in 2026.

Since opening in 1901, the iconic luxury hotel has become one of Southeast Asia’s most recognised hospitality landmarks, known for blending colonial heritage, neo-classical luxury and modern hospitality experiences.

To commemorate the milestone, the hotel is hosting a series of exclusive culinary and cultural events throughout the year celebrating its rich legacy and future vision.
