Tourists visiting the UAE this summer are finding a growing number of reasons to book sooner rather than later. A wave of UAE travel incentives 2026 now spans free visas, discounted hotel stays, complimentary travel insurance and reduced attraction pricing, giving visitors from India and beyond several ways to cut the overall cost of their trip.

The latest addition comes from Abu Dhabi, where Indian tourists can now access free UAE entry visas when booking through participating travel partners between August and October, joining a broader set of perks already available across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Free UAE Visas for Indian Tourists

Under a new programme from the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, free UAE visas for Indian tourists are now available for bookings made through participating travel partners. The initiative runs from August through October 31 and applies specifically to bookings that include a minimum three night stay in Abu Dhabi.

The offer is not automatically available to every Indian traveller, so visitors are advised to confirm whether their chosen travel agent or tour operator is participating before finalising a booking. The programme is designed to make travel to the emirate more accessible for visitors from India, one of Abu Dhabi's key tourism markets.

Abu Dhabi Free Visa 2026 Meets Flight Flexibility

Alongside the Abu Dhabi free visa 2026 initiative, Emirates has introduced its own flexibility for passengers travelling to Dubai. Starting August 10, passengers can now change their travel dates as many times as needed without paying a fee, a policy that applies across Saver and Flex fares in economy, as well as Special, Saver and Flex fares in business class.

Travellers flying elsewhere across the Emirates network also receive one free date change on tickets booked from April 2 onward, including journeys connecting through Dubai, along with the option to hold a fare for up to 24 hours at no charge while finalising plans. Emirates has also lowered its cancellation fees for Dubai bound passengers, now set at $50 on economy Saver fares and $25 on economy Flex fares.

Dubai Travel Discounts 2026 Through the Dubai Invite Scheme

Dubai is encouraging its own residents to bring visitors into the city through a package worth roughly Dh3,000 in Dubai travel discounts 2026. Under the Dubai Invite scheme, residents who nominate friends or family to visit between July 20 and October 31 can unlock hotel, attraction and dining offers once their guests arrive.

Residents can register up to five visitors at a time, provided they are 18 or older with a valid Emirates ID, while nominated guests must hold a tourist visa or qualify for a visa on arrival. The offers include discounts of up to 45 per cent at participating hotels, complimentary room upgrades, hotel credit, free admission to Aquaventure World and IMG Worlds of Adventure, and 50 per cent off entry to Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark. Once a guest arrives, residents receive redemption details within three working days, with benefits valid through December 31.

UAE Hotel Offers Extend to Emirates Flyers

Among the more direct UAE hotel offers available this summer, some Emirates passengers travelling to Dubai can receive up to two complimentary nights at the five star JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai. Economy and Premium Economy passengers qualify for one free night, while Business and First Class passengers receive two.

The promotion applies to travellers who booked return Emirates flights to or via Dubai between June 22 and July 12, for travel taking place between June 25 and September 30. While the booking window has now closed, passengers who secured eligible tickets during that period can still claim the free stay before the end of September by sending Emirates their booking reference, arrival date, passenger names and contact details.

Free UAE Travel Insurance With Etihad

International travellers flying into Abu Dhabi on Etihad can also benefit from free UAE travel insurance, provided by Daman as part of an initiative launched alongside DCT Abu Dhabi. The complimentary medical coverage is automatically included with qualifying Etihad tickets and requires no separate application.

Running from July through December, the insurance covers eligible international visitors for up to 15 days while in the UAE, and also extends to travellers using Etihad's stopover programme. To qualify, visitors must arrive in Abu Dhabi on an Etihad operated flight, with their journey originating and ticket purchased outside the UAE.

UAE Summer Visa for Children Continues Into 2026

Families travelling with children can also take advantage of a long standing UAE summer visa for children exemption, introduced by the UAE Cabinet in 2018. The scheme waives visa fees for accompanying dependants under the age of 18, applying every year from July 15 to September 15, meaning the exemption remains active through this year's summer travel period.

The measure was designed to strengthen the UAE's position as a family friendly destination and reduce the overall cost of summer holidays for parents travelling with children, though it applies specifically to dependant visa fees rather than free entry for the entire family.

What This Season of Incentives Signals

Taken together, this stretch of visa waivers, flight flexibility and hotel perks reflects a broader push by the UAE's tourism authorities and national carriers to keep the destination competitive during a season when travelers have no shortage of alternatives. Similar efforts to reward loyalty and consistency run through hospitality more broadly, from destination wide incentives like these to individual properties earning recognition for the guest experience they deliver, as seen in this report on the Coastal Manor Hotel's Operational Excellence Award win, another example of hospitality built around consistency drawing recognition.

Full details on these offers and eligibility requirements are available through The National.

What all these incentives point to, in the end, is not simply a season of discounts, but a broader effort to lower the barrier between wanting to travel and actually booking the trip, one visa fee, one flexible fare, one free night at a time.
