Carmen Paz New Project Management Director for Colliers Hospitality
Colliers appoints Carmen Paz as Project Management Director for hospitality, bringing 20 years and 50 hotel projects across 10 countries.
MADRID, May 19, 2026 — Colliers has appointed Carmen Paz as Project Management Director specialising in Hospitality, joining the Colliers Architecture team in Spain. Paz brings more than 20 years of experience in hotel project management and has led over 50 hotel developments totalling 9,500 rooms across more than 10 countries.
The hire adds dedicated hotel technical leadership to Colliers at a moment when Spain's hotel investment market is running hard. The country recorded €4.3 billion in hotel asset investment in 2025, with Colliers acting as the leading advisor in the Spanish market closing 11 hotel transactions totalling €815 million across the year.
Carmen Paz Joins Colliers from Minor Hotels International
Paz spent the past seven years at Minor Hotels International as Director of Projects and Construction, where she oversaw project and construction management across the group's Northern European portfolio. Her work there covered cost estimation, planning, design coordination and final asset delivery, keeping hotel operations aligned with construction teams throughout each project.
Before that, she built her career managing hotel developments across midscale to luxury segments, working across new openings, full refurbishments and repositioning projects with multidisciplinary teams in operationally demanding environments.
She is an architect and graduate of ETSAM, the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid.

In her new role, Paz will lead hotel technical services and specialised hospitality consultancy within the Colliers Architecture team.
