In his expanded role, Chef Dash takes strategic ownership of culinary vision, operations, innovation, sustainability and talent development across both The Westin Gurgaon New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa. He continues to oversee the full restaurant portfolio across both properties while driving the evolution of the guest dining experience at each site.
Restaurants and Dining Concepts Built Under His Leadership
Chef Dash has been instrumental in building the culinary standing of both hotels in the NCR market. Signature restaurants Prego and EEST at The Westin Gurgaon have earned multiple industry recognitions under his stewardship.
He conceptualised and launched Teppan by EEST, an interactive teppanyaki dining experience at The Westin Gurgaon. He also created Tangra — Tales of Chinatown at The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa. The restaurant draws on the culinary heritage of Kolkata's Tangra neighbourhood, bringing Hakka-style Chinese cuisine to a resort environment for the first time in that format.
Beyond these flagship concepts, he has led chef collaborations, curated pop-ups, seasonal showcases and food festivals that have kept both properties active and visible within India's competitive luxury dining landscape.
Two Decades Across Taj Hotels, ITC Hotels, Marriott and Atmosphere Maldives
Chef Dash is an alumnus of IIHM Kolkata. His career spans over two decades across Taj Hotels, ITC Hotels, Marriott International and Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts in the Maldives.
That range of environments, from Indian luxury hotel groups to an international island resort to Marriott's global brand framework, gives him a broad culinary frame of reference. It also explains how he thinks about food across two very different properties: an urban business hotel in Gurugram and a leisure resort in Sohna.
His industry recognitions include Marriott International Chef of the Year, the Marriott Asia Pacific Rising Star Chef of the Year, the Award of Culinary Excellence and Hotelier of the Year as Executive Chef by Brands Academy.
