Michael Lestourgeon Appointed GM of Selong Selo and Villas Lombok

LOMBOK, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia — Selong Selo has appointed Michael Lestourgeon as General Manager of Selong Selo Resort and Villas, placing a hospitality professional with over two decades of experience across Marriott International, Starwood and Hyatt Hotels at the head of the hillside property in Selong Belanak.

Lestourgeon will oversee strategic and operational direction, guest experience and commercial growth at the resort.

Michael Lestourgeon Brings Global Career Across Middle East, India and South Asia

Lestourgeon joins from Park Hyatt Chennai, where he served as Director of Operations and, before that, Director of Sales and Marketing. He also completed Hyatt Hotels Corporation's General Manager Development Programme for Asia Pacific.

He spent eight years with Marriott International across multiple commercial roles, including Account Director of Global Sales in Mumbai, Director of Sales at Four Points Sheraton Kochi Infopark, Multi-Property Director of Sales for Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport and Marriott Kochi, and Associate Director of Sales at the company's Bangalore national sales office.

Earlier Career Covered Global Distribution and Market Management

Before Marriott, Lestourgeon worked as Market Manager at GTA in Dubai, managing hotel inventory contracting across India, Sri Lanka and Dubai for over two years.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from Alagappa Institute of Management, Alagappa University.
