Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley, California has announced the appointment of Andrew Lombard as its new General Manager, bringing extensive hospitality and club management experience to the historic luxury resort.

In his new role, Lombard will oversee all operations at the landmark property, guiding strategic initiatives, guest experience, and team development while continuing to strengthen the resort’s position as one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most iconic destinations.

A Leader with Extensive Hospitality Experience

Lombard joins the property with more than a decade of experience in hospitality and private club management. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions across several prominent clubs and luxury hospitality venues in the United States.

Prior to this appointment, Lombard served as Assistant General Manager at Diablo Country Club in California. His previous roles also include Director of Operations at Griffin Club Los Angeles and Director of Food and Beverage at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club.

Earlier in his career, he worked as Clubhouse Manager at El Niguel Country Club and as Restaurant General Manager at the renowned Resort at Pelican Hill.

As General Manager, Lombard will lead operations at the historic Claremont Resort & Club, a luxury property known for its distinctive architecture, panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay Area, and long-standing reputation in Northern California hospitality.

The resort features more than 270 guestrooms and suites, along with extensive wellness, dining, and recreational facilities including tennis courts, swimming pools, fitness programs, and private club amenities.
