These strategic appointments reflect the hotel’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and reinforcing operational excellence across all departments.
Munni Khatun 1. Gaurav Bimal Sharma – Promoted to Rooms Division Manager
Gaurav Bimal Sharma has been promoted from Front Office Manager to Rooms Division Manager. Since joining Hilton Mumbai in October 2022, Gaurav has made a significant impact by enhancing front office operations and consistently driving up guest satisfaction scores. In his expanded leadership role, he will now oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa Operations, and Bell Services, ensuring cohesive and high-quality service delivery across all guest-facing areas.
2. Altamsh Patel – Promoted to Director of Culinary
Previously serving as Executive Chef, Altamsh Patel now assumes the role of Director of Culinary. With over 13 years of culinary leadership experience, Altamsh has been instrumental in elevating the hotel’s gastronomic standards through innovative menu design and uncompromising quality. In his new role, he will lead the culinary division, driving forward new dining concepts and optimizing cost-efficiency practices.
3. Giles Paul Pereira – Promoted to Director of Food & Beverage
Giles Paul Pereira has advanced from Food & Beverage Manager to Director of Food & Beverage. A seasoned professional with 19 years in the hospitality industry, Giles has successfully optimized banquet, restaurant, and bar operations since joining in January 2024. He will now spearhead strategic planning for all F&B outlets, enhance guest experiences, and drive revenue growth through elevated service standards.
4. Mohammed Zaheer Yunus Rar – Promoted to Purchase Manager
Mohammed Zaheer Yunus Rar has been elevated to Purchase Manager, following his impactful tenure as Assistant Purchase Manager since April 2024. Zaheer’s adept procurement strategies and strong supplier relationships have resulted in enhanced supply chain efficiency and cost savings. In his new capacity, he will lead the procurement team, ensuring top-quality sourcing at competitive value.
