The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa have appointed Himanshu Bhatnagar as Multi-Property Director of Human Resources, strengthening leadership across both properties. With over 18 years of experience in hospitality human resources, including more than nine years with Marriott International, he joins the role from Le Méridien Gurgaon, where he served as Director of Human Resources.
Appointment Across Dual Westin Properties
In his new position, Bhatnagar will oversee human resources strategy for both The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa. His mandate includes aligning HR operations across the two properties while supporting organisational development and workforce planning.
The appointment reflects the group’s focus on strengthening its people function across multi-property operations, particularly in areas such as talent development and associate engagement. As Multi-Property Director of Human Resources, he will work closely with leadership teams to maintain consistency in HR practices while addressing the distinct operational needs of both locations.

Bhatnagar’s role will centre on developing and executing human resources strategies that support business objectives across both properties. His responsibilities include enhancing talent management frameworks, improving organisational capability, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
He will also focus on strengthening associate engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand values while supporting employee wellbeing and retention. The role requires overseeing HR processes such as recruitment, training, performance management, and leadership development.
Additionally, he is expected to contribute to building a cohesive workplace culture that supports operational efficiency and service delivery across both the hotel and resort environments.
Professional Background and Industry Experience
Bhatnagar brings extensive experience in hospitality human resources, having worked with several global hotel brands. His career includes roles with Marriott International, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and Radisson Hotel Group.
Most recently, he served as Director of Human Resources at Le Méridien Gurgaon, where he was responsible for leading HR operations and supporting organisational initiatives. His experience spans key areas such as hotel pre-openings, organisational development, and team building.

Bhatnagar has been recognised within the industry for his contributions to human resources leadership. His accolades include the HR Leader of the Year award, along with multiple Marriott APEC HR Awards received between 2021 and 2024.
