Banyan Tree Krabi is set to elevate Thailand’s luxury dining scene with an exclusive ‘Four-Hands Masterpiece’ dinner at its signature restaurant, Saffron. Scheduled for April 23 and 24, 2026, this limited two-night event promises a refined culinary experience that brings together creativity, culture, and collaboration in a unique way.
The highlight of the evening is a special partnership between Thai Sous Chef Koranat Wiwatthanachot and guest chef Renu Homsombat. The “four-hands” concept allows both chefs to combine their individual styles into a single, thoughtfully crafted menu. By blending traditional Thai techniques with modern culinary approaches, the collaboration aims to create a dining experience that feels both authentic and innovative.
Guests will be served a carefully curated five-course set menu that begins with an amuse-bouche and unfolds into a rich exploration of Thai flavours. The menu features dishes such as steamed rice dumplings with crab curry, tom kha soup with prawn, and a choice between grilled red snapper or duck in red coconut curry. The experience concludes with a refreshing sorbet and traditional Thai desserts, offering a balanced and memorable finish to the meal.
What sets this dining experience apart is its emphasis on storytelling through food. Chef Renu Homsombat, who currently leads a European kitchen, brings international expertise while staying deeply connected to Thai culinary traditions. Alongside Chef Koranat’s local knowledge, the menu reflects inspiration drawn from Thailand’s natural landscapes, from its coastal waters to its rich agricultural heritage.
The dinner will begin at 6:00 PM on both evenings and is priced at THB 2,900 per person, with an optional wine pairing available for THB 4,900. The wine selection will feature labels from Monsoon Valley vineyards, adding a distinctly local touch that complements the flavours of the menu.
