Cheval Collection Earns Top Cross-Brand Award at GHA 2026
Cheval Collection won the Best Cross-Brand Contribution award at the 2026 Global Hotel Alliance Awards for driving GHA DISCOVERY enrolments and member stays.
Cheval Collection has been recognised with the Best Cross-Brand Contribution award at the 2026 Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) Awards, highlighting the company's success in driving guest engagement across the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme.
The UK-based luxury hotel apartments and branded residences operator received the honour for inspiring the highest number of member stays across other GHA brands. The recognition comes as Cheval Collection continues to expand its presence across the Middle East with a growing portfolio of luxury properties.
Strong Performance in GHA DISCOVERY
Cheval Collection became the first serviced apartment operator in Europe to join the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme. Within six months of joining, the company exceeded its enrolment targets by 40%, while one of its properties achieved 500% of its membership goal.
According to GHA benchmark data, member revenue typically accounts for around 30% of total revenue across alliance brands. Cheval Collection surpassed this global benchmark within its first six months in the programme, demonstrating strong guest engagement and loyalty performance.
Expanding Presence Across the Middle East
Cheval Collection currently operates and develops a portfolio of 645 hotel apartments and branded residences across the Middle East. Its regional portfolio includes:
- Cheval Maison The Palm Dubai
- Cheval Maison Expo City Dubai
- Cheval Residences Dubai Islands
- Cheval Ladun Living, Riyadh
- Cheval Maison Sulaymaniyah, Riyadh
The company has also confirmed that additional regional developments will be announced in the near future.
Leadership Comments
Mohammed Alawadhi, Managing Director of Cheval Collection, said the award reflects both guest trust and the value of collaboration across the GHA network.
"This award is a fantastic recognition of the strength of the CHEVAL DISCOVERY partnership and the value that collaboration across the GHA delivers for both guests and member brands. To be recognised as the brand that inspired the most member stays across other GHA properties is especially rewarding."
Chris Hartley, CEO of Global Hotel Alliance, congratulated the winners and said the awards recognise innovation, collaboration and best practices that continue to strengthen the GHA DISCOVERY ecosystem.
Momentum Continues
The latest recognition follows another successful year for Cheval Collection. Four of its properties, including Cheval Maison The Palm Dubai, recently received the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award 2026.
Earlier this year, the company also expanded into the branded residences sector with the launch of Cheval Residences Dubai Islands in the UAE, followed by Cheval Residences Knightsbridge Gate in London, marking another milestone in its international growth strategy.
