Commbitz Partners with IndiGo BluChip, Good News for International Travellers
Commbitz has partnered with IndiGo BluChip to offer 3GB of free international eSIM data and 45 IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent, targeting Indian outbound travellers.
Commbitz has announced a strategic partnership with IndiGo BluChip, the loyalty programme of IndiGo, introducing a new international travel connectivity offering for Indian outbound travellers. Announced on June 17, 2026, the collaboration provides members of the airline’s loyalty programme with 3GB of complimentary international eSIM data and rewards of 45 IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent on Commbitz services.
The partnership is designed to integrate international mobile connectivity into travellers’ pre-departure planning by providing digital eSIM access before they leave India. Alongside the complimentary data offer, customers will be able to accumulate loyalty rewards through purchases made on the Commbitz platform.
Partnership Introduces Free Data and Loyalty Rewards
Under the newly launched campaign, eligible international travellers will receive 3GB of free eSIM data for overseas use. The initiative also allows customers to earn 45 IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent on Commbitz connectivity products.
The companies said the programme aims to combine travel connectivity with loyalty benefits, creating additional value for travellers planning international trips. The offer targets customers who typically arrange flights, accommodation, visas and foreign exchange services before departure but often postpone connectivity arrangements until arrival.
The partnership seeks to address that gap by enabling travellers to activate mobile data services before reaching their destination.
Focus on International Connectivity for Indian Travellers
According to the companies, the initiative is intended to simplify access to mobile connectivity abroad and reduce reliance on airport Wi-Fi networks, local SIM card purchases and traditional international roaming services.
The complimentary data package allows travellers to remain connected immediately upon arrival in a foreign country without the need to source local telecommunications services. The offering also aims to provide more transparent data pricing compared with conventional roaming plans.
As international travel continues to recover and outbound tourism grows, digital connectivity has become an increasingly important component of the travel experience. The partnership positions eSIM services as part of the travel preparation process rather than a last-minute purchase.
Commbitz Expands Reach Through Airline Loyalty Collaboration
Commenting on the partnership, Harsh Jayesh Ruparel, CEO and Co-Founder of Commbitz, said the company’s objective is to make international connectivity as seamless as other aspects of travel planning.
He stated that the collaboration with IndiGo BluChip allows Commbitz to engage travellers before departure and provide a digital-first connectivity solution that combines convenience, rewards and international mobile access.
The company believes the partnership will strengthen awareness of eSIM technology among Indian travellers while expanding adoption of digital connectivity services for international trips.
Commbitz Presence Covers More Than 190 Countries
Commbitz is a London-based telecommunications startup focused on global eSIM connectivity solutions for outbound travellers. The company launched operations in India in December 2024 and has since expanded its presence among both individual travellers and business users.
The platform provides connectivity services across more than 190 countries through QR-code-based eSIM activation. The service is designed to eliminate the need for physical SIM cards while offering immediate access to mobile data networks after activation.
In addition to its international coverage footprint, the company offers round-the-clock customer support to assist users travelling across multiple destinations.
Travel Loyalty and Connectivity Sectors Continue to Converge
The partnership reflects a broader trend of travel-related companies combining loyalty programmes with digital services to enhance customer engagement. By linking connectivity purchases with airline rewards, the collaboration introduces an additional incentive for frequent international travellers.
For IndiGo BluChip members, the programme adds a travel-related benefit beyond flights, while for Commbitz it creates access to a large base of outbound travellers seeking connectivity solutions before international departures.
The campaign is now available to eligible travellers, offering complimentary data access alongside BluChip rewards as part of the companies’ effort to simplify international connectivity and enhance the travel experience for Indian consumers.
