What Is Driving Hotel Stocks?

Analysts at Axis Securities said hotels were hit in the April to June 2026 quarter by the US Iran conflict. They now expect a strong second quarter, supported by improving metro demand and the BRICS Summit. The wider Indian hospitality industry growth story also continues to shift towards an asset light model.

The second half remains the key period. The wedding season is expected to lift RevPAR and occupancy across the industry. Axis Securities expects IHCL to post revenue growth of 12.8% in the second quarter, with bottom line growth of 20.3%. The brokerage will watch management comments on demand, occupancy and the Iran US conflict. A revival in tourism, MICE and weddings remains key.

Leela Palaces Posts Strong Second Quarter

Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts reported a 27% rise in profit after tax to ₹94.6 crore. Operating revenue rose 33% year on year to ₹411.9 crore. Operating EBITDA increased 36% to ₹187.7 crore.
