IHCL Q2 Results FY27: net profit rose 22.5% to Rs 349 crore and revenue grew 21.7% as the Taj parent signed 47 hotels in H1.
IHCL Q2 Results FY27 show strong growth for the Tata Group's hospitality arm. Indian Hotels Company Ltd, the parent of Taj hotels, reported a 22.5% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 349 crore for the September quarter. A year earlier it stood at Rs 285 crore. Hotel demand continues to outstrip supply.
IHCL Q2 Results FY27 Show Revenue and EBITDA Gains
Consolidated revenue from operations rose 21.7% to Rs 2,484 crore. It was Rs 2,041 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA increased 23.9% to Rs 706 crore from Rs 570 crore. These numbers point to healthy momentum across the group.
The IHCL Q2 net profit growth reflects strong demand for hotel rooms. Renovated properties and new openings are also adding to earnings. The company expects the trend to continue through the rest of the financial year.
IHCL FY27 Revenue Outlook
IHCL expects consolidated revenue to grow 17 to 19% in FY27. It also expects total revenue per available room, or RevPAR, to grow 15 to 17%. Higher yields from renovated properties will support that outlook. New openings in the second half of the year should add further growth.
Revenue Drivers Named by the CEO
Managing director and CEO Puneet Chhatwal named several drivers. Domestic same store hotels posted a 25% rise in RevPAR. Management fee income grew 25%, led by momentum in new openings. The select service business also grew revenue by 25%. Recent acquisitions of Brij and Atmantan added further contributions.
IHCL Hotel Portfolio Keeps Expanding
IHCL signed 47 hotels in the first half of FY27. Its portfolio now stands at 670 hotels. Of these, 280 hotels are in the pipeline. Together they total more than 32,000 rooms. This pace shows how fast the group is growing across India and abroad.
What the Results Mean for Indian Hospitality
The numbers confirm that demand for quality hotel rooms remains high. Limited supply is helping owners and operators lift rates. Management contracts and select service brands allow faster growth with less capital. For the wider industry, the results signal confidence in the months ahead.
