Industry analysts note that ITC Hotels growth reflects the continued strength of India’s hospitality industry despite global turbulence, geopolitical uncertainty, and fluctuating international travel demand.

The company’s ADR increased by 6 percent year-on-year while occupancy expanded by 229 basis points, resulting in overall RevPAR growth of 10 percent during FY26.

Food and beverage operations continued contributing significantly to hotel revenue growth India, particularly through strong momentum in banqueting, destination weddings, and corporate event catering.

Industry experts believe the recovery of large-scale events, conferences, and luxury celebrations is becoming a major revenue driver for India’s premium hospitality sector.

Management fee income also registered strong growth during FY26, increasing by 28 percent year-on-year due to contributions from newly operational managed hotels and stabilisation of previously launched properties.

The company reported an EBITDA margin of 35 percent excluding real estate operations, supported by strategic cost management initiatives and higher room yields.

Hospitality analysts noted that ITC Hotels successfully navigated operational challenges linked to West Asia tensions, fuel supply disruptions, and temporary fluctuations in inbound travel demand without significantly impacting guest experience standards.

ITC Ratnadipa, the company’s first international property, achieved EBITDA positivity during FY26 while continuing to maintain market leadership in RevPAR performance.

The company also advanced its real estate operations through the progressive handover of Sapphire Residences apartments during the year.

Aligned with its long-term ‘asset-right’ strategy, ITC Hotels plans to expand its operational portfolio to 250 hotels with more than 22,000 keys by 2031.

During FY26, the company announced new hotel projects in Visakhapatnam and New Delhi to strengthen its presence across high-growth business and convention tourism markets.

The upcoming Visakhapatnam property is expected to benefit from rising demand generated by IT infrastructure, industrial development, and port-led business travel along India’s eastern coast.

Meanwhile, the New Delhi hotel project located at the Yashobhoomi Complex aims to capitalise on growing international convention, exhibition, and MICE tourism opportunities.

Construction also continues on major hospitality developments in Puri and Bhubaneswar as the company strengthens its presence across emerging tourism destinations.

Industry observers believe tier-II and tier-III cities are becoming increasingly important for India hospitality industry growth due to rising domestic tourism demand and growing preference for premium hospitality experiences beyond metro markets.

During FY26, ITC Hotels recorded its highest-ever hotel signings, adding 33 properties comprising more than 3,300 keys.

The company currently maintains a pipeline of 67 managed hotels with approximately 6,700 keys, reflecting aggressive long-term expansion plans within India’s growing hospitality sector.

ITC Hotels also expanded its operational footprint by opening 13 new properties during the financial year across business, leisure, and spiritual tourism destinations.

Experts believe India’s organised hotel sector will continue witnessing strong growth over the next several years due to rising domestic travel, infrastructure development, premiumisation trends, and increasing demand for luxury hotels India.

The strong ITC Hotels FY26 revenues performance highlights the resilience of India’s hospitality industry as hotel companies continue expanding across emerging markets while adapting to changing traveller expectations and evolving tourism trends.
