One&Only to Launch First European Alpine Resort in French Alps

One&Only French Alps resort plans have officially been announced as Kerzner International prepares to introduce the luxury hospitality brand to Europe’s alpine tourism market.

The new luxury alpine resort is scheduled to open in 2030 in Courchevel 1850, one of the most prestigious ski destinations in the French Alps. The development will be built at the site of the historic Courcheneige Hotel within the internationally renowned Les Trois Vallees ski area.

The upcoming One&Only French Alps resort will mark the brand’s first European alpine property and its second mountain destination globally following the launch of One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana.

The Courchevel 1850 resort is expected to feature a combination of luxury guestrooms, premium suites, and branded private residences designed to offer travellers an exclusive mountain hospitality experience. Guests will also benefit from direct ski-in and ski-out access to the Bellecote slope, one of the area’s major skiing attractions.

The luxury alpine resort aims to combine high-end accommodation with wellness-focused hospitality and immersive mountain experiences. Planned amenities include multiple dining and bar venues alongside a large wellness facility designed to support relaxation and post-ski recovery.

The wellness resort concept will feature indoor and outdoor thermal experiences, wet circuits, private treatment rooms, and specialised recovery programmes tailored for winter sports travellers. These wellness-focused facilities reflect the growing trend of integrating health and wellbeing experiences into luxury mountain tourism.

Courchevel 1850 continues attracting affluent international travellers due to its premium ski infrastructure, upscale hospitality offerings, and exclusive alpine atmosphere. The arrival of the One&Only brand is expected to further strengthen the region’s luxury hospitality landscape.
